Fashion retailer M&Co has released a brand new Kylie collection, its teen girl’s clothing range.

The collection has been inspired by current fashion trends and includes retro themes similar to those seen on the catwalk this season. Everything from the 1960s to the 1980s is referenced in the new collection, with a 60s style formal look featuring dogtooth print and an 80s sport style for casual weekends.

One of the biggest trends of the 1960s was monochrome, and the Kylie collection is channelling a decidedly swinging sixties vibe with its colour block clothing. Kylie’s monochrome clothing includes black leggings, black peplum dresses and dogtooth skater dresses, although girls can always add a splash of colour to their outfits with M&Co’s Kylie accessories, such as pink belts and red bow headbands. There are both girly and mature styles within the new season collection, so girls can choose which would suit them the best.

Peplum styles are as big as ever this season, and M&Co has taken this on board and has added a variety of peplum dresses, tops and skirts to the collection, with various prints, colours and fabrics available as well. For instance, girls will find animal print, chiffon and Aztec print dresses in the collection.

Similarly, the new Kylie collection also contains a variety of metallic prints, which have been seen in abundance both on and off the catwalk. Girls could try M&Co’s Kylie nude metallic spot tee, which could be paired with some denim shorts and black tights for an on-trend style.

The Stars and Stripes are still going strong this season, with M&Co’s USA-theme leggings, tie knot vests and other pieces. M&Co’s new denim trends would go perfectly with these styles, especially since it has been given a 90s theme for the new collection. Consider M&Co’s new Kylie acid wash injection tie denim shirt or denim shorts, for example.

M&Co has even thought ahead to the chillier months by including a number of warm winter coats in its collection that would also be ideal for back to school.
