Kam Man Foods, the leader in Asian supermarkets in the Northeast USA has announced its first Solar Energy system installation. The 265 Kilowatt system was recently installed at the company’s 601 East Linden Avenue warehouse facility in Linden, New Jersey. “We were able to align our commitment to Sustainability with rendering our cost of electric inflation proof” said Wellman Wu, President of Kam Man Foods.
A ceremony will be held at the 601 East Linden Avenue warehouse to commemorate the “Turning On” of the Solar Energy system. The event will be at noon on Thursday, March 8th. Representatives from Kam Man and Amergy Solar will attend, as well as, City of Linden Mayor Richard J. Gerbounka and Linden Council President, James Moore. Mayor Gerbounka commented, “As Mayor, I commend Kam Man for their commitment to clean renewable energy. They are not only making a contribution to the environment but also our nation’s economy”.
