Blood Bloody Bible Camp, a sexy horror-comedy in the spirit of 80s horror classics, will be released on Video on Demand and DVD. The film tells the story of a group of young, hot and horny campers heading to Happy Day Bible Camp for a fun-filled weekend. But a sadistic and crazy nun with a penchant for gory violence has other plans as she cleanses the sinners in her own unholy ways.
“The movie is a wild throwback to some of our favorite horror films of the 1980s,” said writer/producer Shelby McIntyre. “It’s got all the ingredients to become a cult classic – grizzly killings, gratuitous nudity and a hellacious cast including Reggie Bannister, Tim Sullivan and Ron Jeremy as Jesus!”
Directed by Vito Trabucco, Blood Bloody Bible Camp had its U.S. premiere at Texas Frightmare in May 2012. The fest is one of the most popular horror conventions in the world, and Blood Bloody Bible Camp received an overwhelmingly positive response. “Horror fans went crazy at the showing,” says McIntyre. “From the first scene to the last killing and all the gore, girls and laughs in between, we created a movie that filmgoers want to watch over and over again.”
Blood Bloody Bible Camp will be available July 27th via ONDEMAND in the U.S. and Canada and on digital VOD via iTunes, Vudu and Amazon. Following its VOD premiere, Blood Bloody Bible Camp will be available on DVD and retro VHS throughout rental and retail locations across the U.S. The distribution deal for Blood Bloody Bible Camp was secured through Bosko Group.
