Nabbing a much-coveted spot on the Billboard Top 40 chart and being sought after by multiple record labels and talk shows, indie dance/pop band Side FX is picking up momentum by announcing their next tour ‘Spin Me Dizzy.’
With the announcement of their 4th album, “Spin Me Ever After” the band will be taking their sound to some of the most famous venues and cities across the globe. After signing with Capital Entertainment this summer and finishing the album, the band was itching to get back on the road.
This indie band has a reputation for taking risks mostly by moving listeners to all corners of pop music. The group started on American Airlines’ in-flight programming in 2008 with their first album ‘Contradictions’ and ended this past year with five singles on the Mediabase and Billboard charts with their third album ‘The Blond Side.’
“The Spin Me Dizzy show has this great electronic feel filled with romance,” smiles Kim Cameron, lead singer for Side FX. “We will even be doing a bit of spinning and bouncing, without giving too much away.”
Capital Entertainment is now looking at the Spin Me Dizzy Tour for the overseas markets, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Tampa, Atlantic City with a kick off on October 25th in Washington, DC at Blues Alley.
With songwriting influences from pop music icon Kylie Minogue, legend lyrists Carly Simon and James Taylor, Side FX offers up a powerful recipe as seen in their 2.1 Million YouTube views from dance videos ‘3 Seconds’ and ‘A Dance’ this year.
Side FX’s last formal tour was in 2010 with the release of their second album ‘Turning Point.’ They covered 21 states and performed well over 200 times. With an alternative sound all their own and a dance groove for fans to party to, Side FX has attracted music lovers world-wide.
