The run up to Christmas will see the high streets welcome new establishments, with retailers including Toys ‘R’ Us, Bank and Boden opening pop-up stores across the country. While these locations might be temporary, UK Point of Sale is urging retailers not to forget the importance and power of point of sale.
Many large retailers are using pop-ups as an opportunity to test new locations without committing to a new permanent store, and with these sites hailed as a way to revitalise the high street, UK POS is advising retailers to invest in point of sale which will boost sales during especially in the lead up to Christmas.
Debra Jamieson, Sales and Marketing Director at UK Point of Sale, explains:
