With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, the Book People is encouraging people to give the gift of a great book and share the titles they truly love on February 14th.
Everyone’s got a favourite book, whether it’s something they read as a child and have never forgotten, or a new novel they just couldn’t put down. The online book store wants customers to share the titles they’ve fallen in love with by joining in the discussion on its Twitter page using the hashtag #Bookstofallinlovewith.
And that’s not all, as the Book People is also offering a special Valentine’s Day discount, so people can treat their other half to a book they will really treasure forever. All customers need to do is place an order at any time on February 14th 2013 using the offer code INLOVE and they will receive 10 per cent off their purchase.
So, whether people have been struck by cupid this year or are more of a Valentine’s Day hater, they can curl up and lose themselves in a great book. No matter if customers are fans of romantic fiction, or want a cookbook with some bite to it, they’ll be able to find the perfect title at the Book People.
Lindsay Eyers, social media manager at the Book People, said: “Some people think Valentine’s Day is romantic and others hate it, but whatever your feelings about February 14th, we want everyone to share the books they’ve fallen in love with.
“People can get involved by tweeting their favourite titles, while we’ve suggested a few of our favourites on our website, including Life of Pi by Yann Martel, Love Poems by Carol Ann Duffy and Black Beauty by Anna Sewell.
For a fantastic selection of cheap books, from fiction to cookery publications and travel titles, there is no better place online than the Book People.
