In a joint statement issued on Wednesday in Conakry following the official visit of the Sovereign in Guinea, HM King Mohammed VI and President of the Republic of Guinea, Alpha Condé expressed satisfaction with the excellent friendship and cooperation bilateral relations, reiterating determination to further deepen and expand them to different areas.
According to this document, President Condé praised the new migration policy implemented by Morocco, expressing support for the launch of the African Alliance on Migration and Development as well as his active participation in this innovative initiative.
The statement said that President Condé highlighted the outstanding role by Morocco for the unity of the African continent and committed to striving for its return within the African Union, in the respect of Morocco’s territorial integrity.
In this frame, President Condé expressed the support of his country to the Moroccan initiative meant to grant broad autonomy to the Sahara region, ”which is a serious and credible effort by Morocco to reach a final settlement for this regional dispute”.
The joint statement also added that President Condé applauded the “important reforms carried out under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and which put the Kingdom of Morocco on the irreversible path to prosperity and social peace’’.
