It has been a very busy month for the team at New Acquisitions. In the last month, New Acquisitions hosted a regional leadership conference where they witnessed nine individuals getting promoted to Assistant Director and were influenced by some of the top Managers nationwide at their quarterly Manager’s conference in Dallas, TX. This seems to be just the beginning for New Acquisitions as the third quarter is approaching rapidly.
With such a strong start to the year, the momentum has only continued to grow. In the works for this month alone our managers just came off two major meetings that are expected to impact the Atlanta office exponentially. Zack, National Director of Operations, quarterbacked and organizing the event for the Northeastern region of the country. “This was the largest meeting to date for the company. We were excited about the topics and were impacted by the speakers.” The employees were flown into Philadelphia, all expenses paid, to take part in learning from the best examples in the country.
Shortly following the Regional meeting will be the quarterly leadership conference. “Although we have yet to make our final decisions about who will attend, we are looking forward to it,” states Daniel Lundquist, one of New Acquisitions’ Managers. The quarterly leadership conference is for the best examples from each of the offices nationwide who are invited to learn from some of the best in the country. New Acquisitions sends two to four of their best people to learn how to be more effective leaders and future managers within the organization. In Dallas, the attendees learn skills that are intricate for their growth in areas such as sales, marketing, customer service, brand management, human resources, corporate training and other expertise to assist with their progression. Any person looking to grow into an upper level management position is required to train in all aspects of the company instead of being pigeon holed into one department, which is why the Dallas leadership conference is so vital in their success.
New Acquisitions is poised to have an unbelievable year and intends on taking time off late in November to enjoy some relaxation in Cancun, Mexico. With a firm philosophy of work hard then play hard, New Acquisitions is looking forward to this trip as well as a great year ahead.
