Making Care Easier (MCE) is proud to announce the launch of the newest and best in caregiving applications. With families being asked to take on more and more caregiving responsibilities coupled with the ever increasing aging population, the need for empowered caregivers has never been greater.
MCE is the definition of Empowered Care: providing new tools to improve the quality of life and efficiency for both paid and unpaid caregivers. Unpaid caregivers are the daughter that manages all of her mom’s care, the son who lives thousands of miles away who wants to help more, your co-worker that just had her father move into her home, or one of the other 52 million Americans that help an aging person with every day care.
“We have been involved in the eldercare industry for years but it wasn’t until we started providing care ourselves that we realized what technology was missing. We all use Facebook, e-mail, or shared calendars, but there wasn’t any site that could really make caregiving easier. We needed a site to help us create and store our important information like emergency plans, care plans, medicine plans or directives. It had to be one place everyone could access from anywhere to not only find information, but act on that information. We couldn’t find it, so we created it – Making Care Easier is the next generation of online caregiver tools; we are empowered care,” said Julie Fry, founder of MCE.
MCE Empowered Care means whether it is actionable how-to’s, or that nudge you need to give your sister to help, we give you the tools and suggestions you need to track who is helping, what needs to be done and make sure your loved ones get the necessary help, services and products they need. You can even connect with your professional care providers and best of all, MCE is free to use. Making Care Easier isn’t just our name it is our goal for all those providing care.
