Bay Area based NorthStarr Media Group directed and produced a fundraising video for CAST (Creative Autism Solutions Team). Their goal is to raise funding so that they can have a facility to provide services for people with Autism and other neurological challenges.
Kevin D. Johnson, Jr. director/producer for NorthStarr Media Group says “a bulk of the video was shot during their crab feed fundraiser. The ultimate goal was to show what CAST has done in the past and what they are currently doing as well as their future plans.”
This video runs 7:41 and is produced with interviews from CAST’s founder and director Annette Musso, Pam Wilson consultant, Fundraiser, and advisor board member as well and Paula Rosa volunteer coordinator for CAST. There are also shots that accompany what’s being spoken about. Although the video talks about some of their past work, it’s clear that the money will go toward creating something that is greatly needed it in the Tri –Valley area. Their goals include but are not limited to having an after school program (for the ages of 14-22), occupational therapy, speech therapy, and a custom sensor room for example. At this time, there isn’t anything comparable. Having this sort of faculty will be a great help to many families.
Johnson says “we hope that people see the video and support CAST. They are very passionate about their work and with the proper funding will have a very strong and positive impact on the community as a whole.”
