Elgin Country Club has added the TrackMan Pro series, which uses radar technology to measure precision swing and ball flight analysis, to its golf instruction offerings for members and guests. Elgin Country Club plans to use the TrackMan Pro to enhance club fittings, instruction and to give instructors the ability to have onsite winter practice. The benefit to the members and guests of Elgin Country Club are the capabilities to improve any golfer’s game in whichever respect there are looking to improve. “There is nothing that TrackMan cannot do to help improve the golf game of players of all different skill levels,” said Jon Duppler, Head Golf Pro. Sean Foley, a Top 25 Instructor said of the technology: “TrackMan is a golf game changer, it speeds up the learning process relationship between student and instructor, while building credibility”.
According to the TrackMan website: “The TrackMan Pro Series are used by a vast majority of the game’s leaders: from world renowned coaches to top performing tour players to practically every golf equipment manufacturer in the industry… Exceptionally precise swing data is instantly delivered and translated into actionable knowledge on a portable device of your choice.”
