Due to the heavy flood happened at the southern provice, the soldiers have signed a deal to reach out to the people affected by the disaster, rescue operations and disaster prevention plan. This steps helps in speeding up the draining, which as of now the flooding in some areas in Patani Province has gradually recovering back to normal.
Deputy Commanding General of Pattani’s Special Force Unit Chinkaj Rattanathitti led the soldiers together with the local organizations and local community in cleaning the affected village and prevention for the upcoming clamity after the situation went normal from the flood disaster that lasted for almost 3 weeks.
Moreover, flood cleanup activities continues at Taluboh Village, Taluboh District, Amphoe Mueng, Pattani province, which is another area that has been affected by the flood calamity for several days. Though the water is subsiding it is still impossible to drain it all since these areas are alleys.As a result the stagnant water starts to stink leading it to be polluted.
However, through the combined efforts of military and local community in cleaning up the trash in the water and its surrounding as well as the EM poured in the water to reduce odor.
Furthermore, the 23th Pattani Special force Unit prepared and provided mobile medical check-ups for those victims that has wounds on their feet, treated skin diseases and distributed medical supplies helping those in need.
