Dallas Personal Injury Lawyers to Participate in K104 Charity Golf Tournament
Dallas, Texas – The Dallas based personal injury lawyers of Eberstein Witherite, LLP are gearing up to participate in “DeDe in the Morning’s Annual Putt Putt Golf Tournament” for a second year in a row. The 2nd annual event will support the local charity Women Called Moses, which aims to eradicate domestic violence throughout the United States. The firm’s founding lawyers Amy Witherite and Brian Eberstein have committed a donation to the cause on behalf of the firm, and will also play in the tournament to be held on May 14th.
Eradicating Domestic Violence and The Cycle of Abuse
Statistics show that every nine seconds, a woman is assaulted or beaten in the US. Studies have also shown that up to an estimated 10 million children witness domestic violence incidents in some form each year. The problem is widespread, affecting so many families annually that a number of organizations have been created for the single cause of reducing the rate at which domestic violence occurs. One such organization, Women Called Moses, is a charity that helps women and families on a national level who have been impacted by the cycle of domestic violence gain access to educational and advocacy resources.
DeDe in the Morning’s 2nd Annual Putt Putt Golf Tournament will provide those who want to further the charity’s cause with an opportunity to make a donation, and also possibly play on teams alongside some of their favorite K104 station radio personalities. K104 is a leading Hip Hop and R&B radio station in Dallas favored by many in the communities supported by the Eberstein Witherite firm.
Leading Dallas personal injury attorneys Amy Witherite and Brian Eberstein are set to play in the tournament on a team led by top radio show host DeDe McGuire for a second time. Reflecting on the event last year, Attorney Amy Witherite said, “from our participation last year we were give the dual reward of contributing to the cause of helping reduce rates of domestic violence and playing in such a fun event with people in the community we have always had a strong desire to connect with.”
The attorneys further expressed enthusiasm for this year’s event saying, “we look forward to seeing who else will join us in supporting this worthwhile cause.”
The 2nd Annual Putt Putt Golf Tournament will take place Thursday, May 14th from 7 to 9 pm in Arlington at Alley Cats located at 208 W. Pleasant Ridge, Arlington, TX 76015.
