Felt Family Dentistry is a growing team of family dentists in Layton and Roy, Utah. The duo of Dr. Jeremy Felt and Dr. Dave Felt specialize in everything from preventative dental care for families and kids to cosmetic dentistry and comprehensive dental coverage. As their practice experiences unprecedented growth, Felt Family Dentistry welcomes Dr. Mercedes Hanks to their team of dentists.
Born in Mexico, Dr. Hanks later moved to San Diego before she enrolled at the University of Utah for her undergraduate studies. Dr. Hanks then graduated in 2013 from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Hanks’ mother also practices in the San Diego area.
Dr. Hanks, who is committed to quality and comfort in her dental care and is excited to join the Felt Family Dentistry team, remarks, “I like to treat the patient like I would a family member, give them the best work I can, and make sure they are informed as to why a procedure is recommended. I know having someone invading their personal space is no fun, so if I can make the experience more pleasant, I have done my job.”
Dr. Hanks loves living in Utah with her two daughters, two dogs, and her husband, whom she first met at a Brazilian Capoeira class at USC.
In addition to Dr. Hanks joining the staff, Felt Family Dentistry’s Roy location has hired a new insurance coordinator, two new hygienists, and internally promoted assistants to support staff development. To support the team’s Layton dentists, Felt Family Dentistry has hired an additional hygienist at that location, too.
Felt Family Dentistry’s growth can be attributed to their personal approach to dental care as well as their advances in dental care and flexible patient billing.
