CEO and Founder of LA-based Ahhyoo Inc., Jenny Xu’s debut guide to Feng Shui, entitled “Rich Bedroom Poor Bedroom”, shot to the #1 Bestseller position on Amazon within days of its eagerly anticipated release.
Ms. Xu first received a degree in Architecture and Interior Design from UCLA Extension, with a special emphasis on Feng Shui. Due to her upbringing in China, she had long been fascinated by this five-thousand-year-old Chinese study of the impact of architecture and design on people and the environments in which they live and work. After founding Ahhyoo Inc. in Los Angeles, Ms. Xu realized that more people needed to be made aware of how easy Feng Shui really can be, as well as the benefits that arise from it. With the support and encouragement of her friend, Stephen Rivele, producer, and writer who is best known for his work on the film’s “Ali (2001) and Nixon (1995, Academy Award Nomination), she authored and published “Rich Bedroom Poor Bedroom”.
“It doesn’t matter the size of your bedroom.” Ms. Xu explains. “Anyone can apply Feng Shui designing principles. Everyone deserves a good quality of life. Every house has a “trigram” or life essence, that determines the ebb and flow of Qi. Each house has its own unique Feng Shui element and magnetic orientation. Each house has a unique style. This means that it is necessary to do a thorough analysis of a house to ensure that it embodies the best possible Feng Shui. This comprehensive analysis includes not only the interior design but also the location, materials, colors, furnishings, as well as a blending of modern elements with traditional focal points. A full Feng Shui interpretation is created to promote comfort and a high-quality lifestyle that is specific to the individual.”
Michael Minkler – Three-time Oscar Winner, Three-time BAFTA Winner, has stated, “Thank you, Jenny Xu, for your continued guidance. Your book rests on my night-stand.”
